Natalie Rueb
Associate Teacher
Natalie began working at the ASI Children’s Center in Spring 2022 as a Student Assistant II in La Casita 2 and is excited to begin her role as an Associate Teacher in Casa 2. Her time in La Casita 2 has taught her many important skills such as creating meaningful relationships with students that center around their interests and natural curiosity for learning, fostering a positive classroom environment that prioritizes building community, and keeping a healthy and safe environment for children to learn and grow. Natalie has also completed her fieldwork in Casa 2 while at the Children’s Center, creating mindful breathing technique cards for children to use as a social-emotional regulation tool. Natalie is very passionate about creating a classroom that centers around safety, creativity, and mindfulness that reflects the needs, interests, and background of each child and their family. Having graduated at Sacramento State in Spring 2025 with a BA in Child Development, Natalie hopes to apply her academic knowledge into the classroom, taking every opportunity to learn and grow, much like her students!
In her free time, Natalie enjoys spending time with loved ones, reading, cooking, drawing, and doing anything that involves being outside, like hiking or going on bike rides.
