As a result of the rapidly evolving coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic, ASI has made changes to programs and services in accordance with campus policies and procedures.
Student health and safety are a top priority and we are adapting to new practices and hours until further notice. The ASI Children’s Center is now enrolling for FALL 2021! The ASI Children’s Center is currently serving families and will be expanding their services. The Center has additional State Funds for student families who qualify for state subsidies. Guests and/or visitors are allowed in the facility by appointment only.
ASI Peak Adventures Bike Shop and outdoor gear rental counter are open. Rafting trips are being offered this summer beginning June 19th. In person outdoor trips and Challenge Center programs will be offered in the beginning of August.
The ASI Food Pantry remains open limited days and hours offering food and basic necessities, at no cost, to current Sac State students with a valid Student ID number. Students can visit one time per week.
KSSU Radio continues to stream 24/7 at www.kssu.com. The KSSU studio in the University Union is closed to visitors until further notice. For current information about in-person DJ & PA services please contact us.
Safe Rides will temporarily expand to allow students to claim reimbursements from anywhere in the United States with expanded operational hours to 24 hours/day, 7 days/week while classes are in session.
The ASI Business Office is currently closed to all services. Tentative opening date is set for August 2, 2021. The ASI Business Office will not offer check pick up services, all checks will continue to be mailed.
ASI Student Government meetings will take place on video Zoom with an additional phone-only option. Currently seeking student representation for ASI Internal and University committees. Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or Act)
Effective April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020, the FAMILIES FIRST CORONAVIRUS RESPONSE ACT (FFCRA or Act) provides employees with paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. Please note leave is taken when work is available and the employee cannot work or telework due to COVID reasons. For more information visit our HR page.
