Sarrina is excited to be back at the Children’s Center. She began working at the Children’s Center in January 2013 as a student assistant in the Bambini classes. In 2015, she moved up to the La Casita classroom and in 2016-2017 she was a fellowship in Casa. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Child Development from CSU, Sacramento. She enjoys learning and since obtaining her degree has taken American Sign Language, Psychology, and Health courses. Sarrina is fluent in English and Spanish. She is also currently learning ASL and French. On her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, cooking, spending time with family, and listening to music.
The best thing about working at the Children’s Center is: being an extension of families and learning about various cultural practices from the individuals at the center.
