Esmeralda Alvarez

Esme began working at the Children’s Center Fall of 2020 as a Student Assistant II in Bambini 2. Since then, she has worked in all of the Bambini classrooms. Working in all Bambini classrooms has allowed her to see the differences between the different ages. She has also gained/developed experience and skills that have become useful when working with the children and as a supervisor in the classroom. Esme graduated spring 2024 with her B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development at Sacramento State University and will be continuing her journey at the Children’s Center as an Associate Teacher in Bambini 2.

          During her free time, she enjoys walks on the beach, spending time with her dog, drinking coffee and listening to music. The best thing about working at the Children’s Center is building connections with the children and families. Seeing them grow from infants to toddlers as they reach new milestones brings her joy. She also enjoys watching them dance and laugh during circle times.
