Federal Work Study
The Federal Work Study (FWS) program helps students earn funds for educational expenses while providing work experience. This program encourages community service work and work related to the student’s course of study.
- FWS pay rate starts at $16/hour
- Administered by the Financial Aid & Scholarships Office in partnership with the Student Employment Office
- Available to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students with financial need
- Provides part-time employment while enrolled at least half-time

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, California State University, Sacramento has made crime statistics available on-line.
ASI COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
In support of the CSU and Chancellor’s Office policy, ASI employees are required to be fully vaccinated. Upon hire, ASI Human Resources will obtain from each employee:
1) declaration of current COVID-19 vaccination status (with an Approved Vaccine’s last required dose, including boosters); or
2) declaration of Medical Exemption; or
3) declaration of Religious Exemption
For the purpose of this policy, a fully vaccinated is defined as:
- Completion of an mRNA vaccine (e.g., Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) primary series followed at least six months after by a booster dose of a COVID-19 vaccine; or
- Completion of a Janssen vaccine primary dose followed at least two months after by a booster dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
