Our Mission
The ASI Food Pantry exists to provide food and basic necessities
to Sac State students with financial hardships and
low food security,
at no cost. In addition to helping alleviate hunger within our
student community, the ASI Food Pantry aims to decrease the
negative impact that
low food security has on the academic success of our
students.
What does the ASI Food Pantry offer?
The ASI Food Pantry provides basic necessities such as:
non-perishables, fresh produce, and toiletries. The Pantry is a
shared resource made possible by donations from the community,
and Sac State Basic Needs Fund!
Students can visit the Pantry once per
week. To be eligible to utilize the ASI Food
Pantry, students must:
1. Be enrolled at Sac State for current academic term
2. Present a valid One-Card
3. Bring a reusable grocery bag
4. Fill out the User Registration Form (once per academic
year).
Fill out the New User
Registration Form at your first visit every academic
year.

Additional Resources For You & Lockers
We have compiled a list of resources for students facing food
insecurity. Check
out our resource list.
Lockers
The purpose of these lockers is to increase
accessibility to the ASI Food Pantry by allowing students to pick
up food outside of the Food Pantry’s opening hours.
We recognize how limited a student’s availability can be and this
is a great option for students with a busy schedule. Please
note that utilizing the lockers will count as your weekly
visit.
Pick up times are limited to the University Union’s
opening hours.
The Lockers are located on the first floor of the University
Union next between The Store and the ASI SEO Office.
