Overview

Our Mission

The ASI Food Pantry exists to provide food and basic necessities to Sac State students with financial hardships and food insecurity, at no cost. In addition to helping alleviate hunger within our student community, the ASI Food Pantry aims to decrease the impact that food insecurities have on the academic success of our students.

Fall 2021 Hours 

August 30th – December 17th
Monday: 12pm – 3pm
Tuesday: 10am – 2pm
Wednesday: 1pm – 5pm
Thursday: 12pm – 3pm
Friday: 10am – 2pm 
Closed September 6, November 11, November 25 & 26. 

Location

  • University Union, Room 1246  
  • Entrance on side of Union between University Union and Santa Clara Hall

How it works

Students can visit the Pantry once per week. To be eligible to utilize the ASI Food Pantry, students must 1. be enrolled at Sac State, 2. bring One-Card or know student ID number, and 3. Fill out the New User Registration Form (once a semester).

Free Groceries Pop Up 

The Free Groceries Pop Up is a separate and additional service of the ASI Food Pantry. In an effort to provide healthier eating options, ASI has partnered with the Central Downtown Food Basket to distribute fresh produce at no cost to Sac State students in need.
