Rachel Wong

Rachel is excited to be part of the full-time staff team! She started working at the Children’s Center as a student-staff in her first semester at Sacramento State, and immediately loved having the opportunity to teach children in the most crucial years of their lives. She started in Casa 3, went over to Bambini 3 where she stayed for many semesters, spent a few semesters in La Casita 1 and 3, and then became a student assistant III for Bambini 3.

She then graduated during the Spring 2026 semester with her BA in Child and Adolescent Development, and her BS in Family Studies and Human Development. It has been such a unique experience for her to be able to apply what she learned in her classes to her days at work! Throughout her time at the Center, she has been able to work with such amazing head and associate teachers that have taught her what quality care and interactions look like, and she strives to apply those skills to whatever class she is in.

When Rachel’s not working, she enjoys eating food, trying new coffee spots, laughing with her family, and spending time with her fiancé!
