Shannon McGrane

Shannon previously worked at the Children’s Center as an undergraduate from Fall 2022 through Fall 2024. During this time, she was a Student Assistant II in Bambini 3 where she developed many valuable skills essential to creating an inclusive, safe environment that encourages children’s creativity and growth.

Shannon graduated in Spring 2024 with a B.A. in Liberal Studies from Sacramento State University. At the start of 2026, she returned to the Children’s Center as an Associate Teacher in La Casita 1. Shannon is excited to be back at the center, to continue applying her knowledge, and to grow professionally each day. She is also eager to build positive relationships with the children and families within the center.

During her free time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her cat, being in nature, reading, and cooking new recipes.

The best thing about working at the Children’s Center is:  Having the opportunity to create meaningful relationships with children and their families while experiencing a shared sense of community within the center.
