Thaily Martinez

Thaily started working at the Children Center in Summer of 2021 as a Student Assistant II in Bambini 2. Since then, Thaily has worked with the La Casita and Casa classrooms throughout her undergraduate program. Working with the different age groups of children, she has gained/developed experience and skills that have become useful while being a supervisor in the classroom during her last year in her bachelor’s program. She graduated in spring 2024 with her B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development at Sacramento State University. She continued her education by enrolling in the Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Program in fall 2024 and recently graduated in December 2025. Thaily is excited to be back at the center now as an Associate Teacher II eager to apply her knowledge, build positive relationships with the children and their families, and to grow professionally each day.  

During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, family, and friend, reading and listening to music. The best thing about working at the Children Center is building the individual connections with the children and their families. Getting the opportunity to be a part of their development brings a sense of joy to her.
