Yasmine Luevano
Associate Teacher
Yasmine has experience working with children from infancy to 6th grade in school settings as well in the after-school curricular settings. In 2019, she received an A.S in Early Childhood Education from Woodland Community College. She then went on to graduate from Sacramento State in 2021 with a B.A in Child and Adolescent Development. Interacting with children, play based learning, creativity, and watching the social development between children are just part of the reasons why she wants to pursue a higher career in education. She is a mom to three boys, enjoys listening to podcasts, cooking, and baking new recipes. When not at work, she likes to go on walks with her family and dog, take camping trips, and tend to her succulents.
The best part about working at the Children’s Center is: Getting the opportunity to see the stages in which our future generations grow. Being an active part in their development gives her a sense of excitement that she is grateful to be a part of.
