Taylor Ogden
Associate Teacher
Taylor began working at the Children Center in Fall 2024 as an Assistant Teacher in the La Casita 2 room. She is a Sacramento State graduate, having earned her B.A. in Communcations in 2016 and earned and M.A. in Early Childhood Education from Pacific Oaks College 3 years later. Taylor loves playing with children, reading with them to help build their vocabulary, and doing art projects with them and is always amazed with how creative they can be and how their minds work.
Jose Rodrigues

Jose graduated from the University of California, Davis and attended Gonzaga University.
Jose holds multiple degrees, extensive internship and job experiences in the field of Education. He began his role at the Children’s Center November 2024 and is the Associate Teacher in the La Casita 2 classroom. During his leisure time, Jose’s passion revolves around traveling the world, reading books, spending quality time with family, and cooking home-made meals. In addition, Jose finds pleasure hiking on the California coast, fitness, and listening to podcasts.
Barbara Rogers

At age 21, Chef Barbara embarked on her culinary journey, contributing to the opening of the first Zocalo location. Her experience includes working at renowned establishments such as Sellands and David Berkely, as well as learning the art of sushi rolling from the esteemed Chef Billy Ngo of Kru. For a decade, Chef Barbara honed her skills at the Sacramento Convention Center, mastering large-scale catering. She contributed to cooking meals for the governors State of the State address, World Cheese Expo and getting to meet Chef Alice Waters of the school food program The Edible Garden.
