Overview

Applications are open to serve on the 2021-2022 ASI Board of Directors. The openings will be filled by appointment.  The positions would be for the 2021-2022 academic year.  

The following positions are open:

Director of Business- You must meet the same requirements as those who ran for office in spring 2021.   Please review the requirements for the Director Eligibility.

Director of Graduate Studies- You must meet the same requirements as those who ran for office in spring 2021.   Please review the requirements for the Director Eligibility.

To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled and meet the same qualifications as currently elected ASI Board members. All eligible Board members must have been enrolled at Sac State in both spring 2021 and fall 2020 and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. For all requirements, you can review the eligibility requirements here:

This is a great opportunity to make a difference at Sac State and work with a very committed group of students. The priority deadline to apply for review is Wednesday, August 25, 2021.

Benefits of serving on the board include the following:

  • Scholarship to help off-set the cost of your education. The percentage of the “estimated cost of attendance” shall be awarded in the following amounts (in 2020-21 scholarships ranged from ($9,000-$18,000):
    • ASI President – 70% of the total cost
    • ASI Executive Vice President, ASI Vice President of Finance, ASI Vice Presidents of University Affairs and Academic Affairs – 60% of the total cost
    • Directors of each College, Undeclared, and Graduate – 35% of the total cost
