My name is Tiffany Poedyasmara and I am running for Director of Business Administration. I am currently a third year student here at Sacramento State. Over the past three years I have been involved with Circle K International, where I am currently serving on the Executive board and have been elected to serve again in the 2020-2021 term. Through this organization, I learned how important it is to become more involved on campus and in your community, and the value of providing helpful resources and leadership opportunities to all students. I have noticed there are a plethora of business resources our campus offers, however many students are unaware or are hesitant to participate. If elected as Director of Business Administration, my goal would be to effectively promote important resources, such as networking events, scholarships, and job and internship opportunities, to all business students. Another goal is to ensure that students feel like their voice matters and is being heard. I plan on achieving these goals by building personal relationships with students and organizations, and being an available resource to all business students. With these relationships, I will listen for the wants and needs of business students and inform the ASI Board to ensure important concerns are addressed. I will create opportunities based on these needs and encourage students to become more involved on campus and take advantage of these opportunities to grow towards their goals. I hope you will vote for me on April 15th and 16th.

Hello Hornets, My name is Prabhjyot Shinh, and I’m running for the Director of Business. I have been a Business tutor for 3 semesters, a Peer Mentor for 2 semesters, and I’ve been involved in several committees. I also worked with 2 Business professors on their research papers. I have served as a treasurer and secretary for Peer mentor club and International Friends Association, respectively. I am a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, a Business Honor Society. Through my experiences on campus, I know how important it is for Business majors to get into their major, study well, and finally get a job. I want to ensure that students know about the resources that College of Business offers for them to have a good GPA, get advisors to make sure they get into the major and have networks and information related to career opportunities. I will direct a joint council for Business clubs to make sure students can be involved. My first step will be to make sure all students in CBA know the resources that CBA offers, like the Business tutoring center, the lab, and various mentoring programs. I will also make certain that students have my support in building great resumes. Finally, as extracurriculars and NACE skills are becoming important requirements for recruiters, I will communicate these to students and tell them how to get these skills. So, on April 15 and 16, please vote. Being a rising networking student and having completed my Leadership Initiative, I hope you will vote for me.
